Director:Antonio PalaciosWriter:Antonio PalaciosStars:Ana Fernández, Jimmy Roca, José CanalejoSummary: The black slaves taken from Africa by force, since the 14th Century on, live at the suburban slums of Seville, many of them fighting for survival. Gonzalo de Mena not only creates a hospital and a chapel for them, but also a brotherhood to integrate them into the religious and social life of Seville. They become the first religious congregation, a title that they have to defend before other white brotherhoods. Also, they have to avoid being suspended and banned by religious authorities. As time goes by, the popularly-called "Brotherhood of the Negroes" becomes "the Negritos", a paternalism that shows how a fraternity of slaves and freedmen becomes a brotherhood of poor white Sevillians.

Narrated by a cast of Jackie's closest friends and family, the film shares the private struggles of a woman who became an icon of 1980s feminism whilst hiding her vulnerability behind a carefully crafted, powerful, public persona. The film evolves from a celebration of Jackie's revolutionary novels - which placed female sexuality at the heart of their storytelling - into a multi-layered deliberation on feminism, family dynamics, and the universal quest to understand how our childhood experiences and early traumas ultimately make us who we are.

Director:Miguel EekWriter:Aina Calleja, Miguel EekSummary: Eva's being allowed to go. She can leave the psychiatric institution she's lived in for six years, and move into an assisted living residence. It's a major step towards a "normal" life. Now she just has to wait until a place for her frees up. In the meantime she works on her self-confidence as well as her trust in the outside world. Our view alternates between Eva's environment from her own perspective and observing her from some distance. This compels us to reflect on how we look at people with mental health conditions, how they see themselves, and what "normal" means. When eventually a place is found for her, Eva's other ambitions come within reach: to find a job, earn an income of her own, and maybe find love? While she's taking stock of her past, she also fixes firmly on her main goal: to reconnect with the son she lost custody of 20 years ago. "The First Woman" is a film about second chances, the search for "normality" and the borderline between lucidity and darkness.
Director:Oier Aranzabal, Ritxi Lizartza, David PallarésWriter:Jon Mikel Aldanondo, Javier Barajas, Mielanjel ElustondoStars:Nicanor Acosta, Xabier Amuriza, Juan Mari ArregiSummary: A real voyage in an apparently unreal situation. Four priests incarcerated in Zamora's prison for priests (1968-1976) return to visit the jail where they were condemned, in some cases, to sentences of more than ten years for having given sermons in which they denounced the repression under Franco. It was precisely Franco who, using the Concordat signed with the Vatican, created that Concordat Prison for priests, the only one of its kind in the world. This is an unusual journey; people don't usually go back to visit the prison where they were detained. It is the bridge for telling the tale of the true journey to which 53 religious men from Madrid, Galicia, Catalonia and the Basque Country were subjected during their forced transfer to said jail. A journey aiming to retrieve a story still unknown today. A journey to prevent it from being forgotten.
