Elsa, Julia y Amelia se reúnen cada jueves para dar un paseo matinal antes de acudir a sus puestos de trabajo. Es una ocasión para contarse lo que les sucede, lo que les preocupa. A pesar de las diferencias y desencuentros, hay algo que las une: la edad y el peso que sienten al saber que han recorrido ya la mitad de sus vidas. La triste sensación de que el paso de los años las ha desplazado de su lugar para arrinconarlas en un espacio en el que se sienten desubicadas y casi perdidas.
